Vladimir Mikhailovich Smelkov

Was born in 1945 in Moscow. Has studied at Krasnaia Presnia Art school , at correspondence Art university after N.K.Krupskaia. In 1972 graduated from Art college named after "1905 Year" (Russian Academy of Art). Worked as a chief artist of Lysva Drama Theatre, Sverdlovsk Theater of Young Spectator, Cheliabinsk Theater of Young Spectator. From the middle of 80th has worked in painting. Member of Artists' Union of Russia from 1981. His works are in museums and private collections of Russia and abroad.
