THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT
There are about a hundred and fifty objects on display. All those are items on arts and manners of the XIV-XX centuries, some of them are true rarities. One can see there, in particular, a specimen of the world-earliest postage stamp, the famous ‘black penny’ issued in 1840, and six delightful engraved portraits of British literary men of the beginning of the XIX century, with their original autographs. There are such renowned persons in that row as R.Southey, S.T.Coleridge and M.G.Lewis.
