Aleksei Aphanasievich Kazantsev was born in 1928 in
Boldyrevo village of Abatski district of Tyumen region. In 1948 he finished
Sverdlovsk art college, in 1954 - Kharkovski State art institute. From 1960
he has been a participant of city, regional, zonal, republican and
international exhibitions. A member of Artists' Union of Russia from 1963 year. Prefers
graphics and painting. His works are gathered in state museums, private collections of
Russia and foreign countries.
