Aleksander Alekseev-Svinkin
Aleksander Alekseev-Svinkin is the most
unpredictable of all Yekaterinburg artists, constantly changing, always diverse, but
invariably interesting in all his artistic faces. Rather cold and diligent photorealist,
sincere lyric poet, ironical artist of social art, mysterious author of mythological plots
and energetically expressive abstract and figurative paintings, sometimes it’s difficult
to believe that this is the same 46 years old artist. Audience of his canvases falls into
ironical, paradoxical, and often strange, but kind dynamic vivid world... This is
world that sometimes similar to fantastic dream, although paintings force to think,
co-experience, and show not the result, but some endless process of thoughts about life.
